MAKING MIRACLES

The RECing Crew, along with the City of North Augusta Parks and Recreation, are in agreement to bring a Miracle League Field to Riverview Park. A Miracle Field is an inclusive, universally accessible, soft-surface baseball diamond created especially for athletes with disabilities. The field allows players to enjoy themselves without barriers or obstacles. The surface also accommodates wheelchairs and other assistive devices while helping to prevent possible injuries.

MORE THAN JUST BASEBALL

In addition to the field being used for baseball, the North Augusta Miracle League will be designed to be a multipurpose facility. We envision other therapeutic activities on-site, such as tournaments, kickball, pickleball, movie nights, and more. The RECing Crew will partner with other agencies that provide services to children and adults with disabilities by offering the field for their use for special programs, outdoor activities, classroom programs, and more.

WHO WE ARE

The RECing Crew is a non-profit 501c3 organization that has proudly offered leisure and recreational programs for those with special needs since 2002. We currently offer 16 programs and served more than 6,000 individuals last year from the Aiken, Barnwell, and Edgefield Counties in South Carolina, as well as Burke, Columbia, and Richmond Counties in Georgia.
